Record not an issue for Wright-Phillips
Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips insists the three points gained far outweigh the new record set after coming from behind to beat Birmingham 3-2 at Stamford Bridge.
The home side were given a shock when old boy Mikael Forssell opened the scoring and Olivier Kapo levelled to make it 2-2, but Michael Essien’s strike ensured Jose Mourinho’s side set an English record for unbeaten league matches at home of 64 games.
