Ipswich striker Lee involved in collision

A Porsche driven by Ipswich striker Alan Lee has been involved in a collision that left a cyclist with serious injuries.

Lee’s car collided with a bicycle in Dedham, Essex on Tuesday afternoon.

The 31-year-old cyclist, who suffered a broken leg and internal injuries, was in a serious but stable condition in hospital on Thursday.

A club spokesman said: “It is a private matter but, as you would expect, police are investigating the accident.

“Alan and the club’s thoughts are with the cyclist, who we wish a speedy recovery.”
