Chelsea give teenager new deal

Promising Chelsea teenager Michael Mancienne has signed a new three-year contract with the club.

The centre-back is currently on a season-long loan at Coca-Cola Championship side QPR, where he also spent much of the last campaign.

He is yet to appear for Jose Mourinho’s first team but was a regular for the reserve and youth sides before his time with the Hoops.
