Former Tottenham striker Les Ferdinand believes the crunch time for Jermain Defoe’s future at White Hart Lane will arrive during the January transfer window.
Defoe seems certain to begin the new Barclays Premier league season playing second fiddle to coach Martin Jol’s preferred strike pairing of Darren Bent and Dimitar Berbatov.
