Becks out of Chivas clash

David Beckham has been ruled out of the Los Angeles Galaxy’s Superliga match against Chivas de Guadalajara.

The 32-year-old England international has still not recovered from the ankle injury he picked up playing for his country in the European Championship qualifiers on June 6.

He was only able to play 12 minutes of his debut for the Major League Soccer side in an exhibition match against Chelsea.
