Moyes: Defeat is wake-up call

Everton boss David Moyes believes Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to American outfit Real Salt Lake will act as a wake-up call ahead of the new Barclays Premier League season.

Two goals in the space of 60 first-half seconds proved decisive at the Rice-Eccles Stadium and Moyes is hoping the loss will act as a spur going into the new campaign.
