Yeboah out for Galway Utd
Galway United entertain Bray Wanderers in tonight’s eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash, kick-off at Terryland Park is at 7.45pm.
New United signing Yeboah Mensah took a heavy knock to the knee last week in the Showgrounds and faces a scan on Friday.
Still out are Chris Armstrong, David Cooke, Liam McKenna, John Russell and Stephen O'Flynn.
All are expected to be out for another 14 days with Armstrong out long term.
On a more positive note Alan Keane has returned to the squad and may again make the bench on Friday.
Galway boss Tony Cousins feels his side are out of luck: "We are not having much luck with our strikers this season and Yeboah Mensah's injury could be a bad one.
“He shipped a heavy knock last week and the scan will tell us more. It looks like a ligament injury and it will certainly be a bad blow to us and Mensah if he has to face a long spell on the sidelines."
Bray have to plan without defender Clive Delaney and winger Gary McCabe as both are suspended.
Colm Tresson and Derek Tyrell are doubts for Bray, while Paul Caffrey will definitely miss tonight’s trip to the west.
