Mourinho cautious over Cole

Jose Mourinho has revealed he will take no chances over Ashley Cole’s return to the Chelsea side following the news Wayne Bridge is set to be ruled out for up to three months.

The Chelsea boss last week claimed Cole would resume training during the Blues’ pre-season tour in America following ankle surgery but with Bridge now sidelined for a lengthy period due to a hip operation, he will adopt a more cautious approach towards his first-choice left-back.
