Drogheda gain four-point lead in eircom League

Drogheda United have opened up a four-point lead at the top of the eircom Premier.

A late goal from Tony Grant saw them beat Bohemians 1-0 at United Park.

Tonight, Sligo Rovers host Galway United in a Connacht derby, while Cork City take a one-all score line with them to Sweden for the second leg of their Intertoto Cup clash with Hammarby.

In the First Division, Monaghan United left it late to dispatch Wexford Youths 2-0 - goals inside the final 15 minutes from Darren Meenan and Robbie Farrell.
