Real still in Robben race

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon believes there is a good chance Chelsea winger Arjen Robben will join them this summer.

The Holland international has been a target of the Spanish champions for the past year.

Should Chelsea refuse to sell Robben, Madrid could join the race for Lyon winger Florent Malouda, who is also a target of the Blues.

“Malouda is a player that our (technical secretary) Miguel Angel Portugal likes a lot,” said Calderon on the club’s official website,www.realmadrid.com.

“But we also have to consider other players that would fit in, like Robben, who has many chances of joining our team.”
