Kingson keeps right on
Birmingham manager Steve Bruce has completed his sixth signing of the summer with Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson agreeing to join the midlands club on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old has joined City on a free transfer from Swedish side Hammarby on a two-year contract, subject to obtaining a work permit.
Kingson will be in competition with Northern Ireland number one Maik Taylor and Colin Doyle, who finished last season as Birmingham’s first choice.
Kingson played for several sides in Turkey including Antalyaspor and Galatasaray before joining Hammarby in the latter part of last season.
It continues Bruce’s revamping of the squad which gained promotion from the Coca-Cola Championship.
