Drogs look to overcome injuries
Drogheda United will be looking to take full points against Galway United in tonight’s eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash at United Park, kick-off 8pm.
A win for the home side would put them back on top of the table but manager Paul Doolin will have to prepare without Mikko Vilmunen, Simon Webb and Steven Gray who are missing through injury.
Aidan O'Keefe is another doubt for Drogheda and will have a late fitness test.
Stephen O'Flynn and David Cooke are out with ankle injuries for Galway and Liam McKenna will also miss out with a groin injury.
John Russell is struggling with an ankle injury and may be rested.
Galway manager Tony Cousins said: “We are down to the bare bones when we travel to Drogheda.
There is not much we can do about that but we will just have to go there with a positive attitude and get on with it. We may have to draft in some Under-21 players at this stage.'
