Derby smash transfer record with Earnshaw signing

Premiership new boys Derby have smashed their transfer record by signing Norwich striker Robert Earnshaw for £3.5m.

The Wales striker, 26, has become the Rams’ first signing of the summer after agreeing terms on a three-year deal at Pride Park.

The capture of the former Cardiff and West Brom striker surpasses the £3m record fee the Rams paid for the services of Seth Johnson, Craig Burley, Branko Strupar and Giorgi Kinkladze.
