Adam lands new rangers deal
Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam has been rewarded for an outstanding breakthrough season at Ibrox with a new five-year contract.
Adam, 21, hit 14 goals and made 40 starts for Rangers, and made his Scotland debut against Austria in May.
The youngster came through the youth ranks at Murray Park and had loan spells with Ross County and St Mirren before establishing himself in the first team under Paul Le Guen at the start of last season.
Walter Smith kept faith with Adam when he replaced Le Guen in January and Rangers supporters voted the free-kick specialist their young player of the year.
