Rangers snap up goalkeeper

Rangers have signed former Kilmarnock goalkeeper Graeme Smith to act as cover for Allan McGregor.

Smith, 24, turned down new terms at Rugby Park to become a free agent this summer, and Rangers have confirmed he has signed a three-year contract with them.

Smith came through the ranks at Kilmarnock and, after previous spells on loan at Queen’s Park and Stenhousemuir, began to establish himself in the first team at Rugby Park last season.
