The visitors went ahead after 21 minutes when Jurijs Sokolovs converted Zaur Kaziev’s cross.

However, Kieran O’Connor equalised after 40 minutes when he pounced on a rebound after Mark Holland put through Chris Scannell whose shot was saved by goalkeeper Badims Fjodorous.

The Latvians were then reduced to 10 men when Alexey Kostenko was shown a red card after 58 minutes for lashing out at Barry Johnston.
