St Patrick's Athletic's lead at the top of the Premier Division table was reduced to just two points as they had to settle for a point at the Carlisle Grounds having played with ten men for almost 80 minutes.

Saints faced an uphill task from the 13th minute when midfielder Alan Kirby was shown a straight red card for raising an arm to Bray defender Chris Deans after he had been fouled by Colm Tresson.

That said, John McDonnell's team had the better of the exchanges, wasting the best chance of the game on 67 minutes when skipper Colm Foley headed over from Keith Fahey's free-kick.
