Motherwell part with Malpas

Motherwell have parted company with manager Maurice Malpas after the former Scotland international spent just one season in charge.

Malpas is understood to have walked away following talks over the future of the club with owner John Boyle.

Motherwell are expected to release a statement this afternoon with further details but former Fir Park skipper Scott Leitch has already been lined up as caretaker manager.
