St Pat's hoping for win at Richmond Park

St Patrick's Athletic will be looking to get back to winning ways as they entertain Galway United at Richmond Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

The league leaders were beaten by Bohemians at Dalymount Park on Monday and have a few injury concerns ahead of tonight's encounter.

Stephen Brennan was a casualty in the Bohs defeat and will miss out, while Joseph Ndo and Stephen Paisley are still out injured.

Galway travel to Inchicore on the back of a 3-0 victory in Longford on Tuesday night and will be confident of causing an upset at Richmond Park.

"It was great to get the win," said boss Tony Cousins.

"The most important thing before the game was the result and to get a three nil victory away from home was fantastic.

"I told the lads afterwards to enjoy the victory and that we would go through areas of the game that needed improvement the day after. When you win you have to appreciate it and sometimes you can't be too hard of the negative points initially."

United have no injury worries before the game apart from Alan Murphy who came off early on Tuesday night with a sore calf, although he is expected to be fit. And John Lester is available again after suspension.

Cousins added: "The Pat's game will be tough, just like every fixture in the league. We will be going there to get a result. On our day we are a match for any team. We are not fearful and will go to Dublin with a positive attitude. With a lot of teams congregated down near the bottom, it would be a boost to get a result there before the season takes a short break."
