Win puts Drogheda within five points of leaders

Shane Robinson scored a late penalty to give Drogheda a hard-earned win at the Showgrounds and move them to within five points of leaders St Pat's.

Robinson shot home from the spot after he had been bundled over by Sligo keeper Tomislav Arcaba.

Drogheda got their reward for a positive start with the lead goal after just three minutes.

Paul Keegan and Tony Grant worked a short corner to cross and defender Brian Shelley headed home off a post.
