Waterford United made it five games unbeaten to frustrate managerless Derry at the Brandywell.

A brilliant five-man move brought Derry a tenth minute lead.

Killian Brennan eventually crossed from the left for Peter Hynes to beat Dean Delaney with a crisp first-time shot.

But in-form Blues hit back to level eleven minutes later.

Poor marking from Shane Harte's free-kick from the left resulted in Robert Brosnan getting in a header to beat Patick Jennings.
