Bohemians moved up to third in the table as Galway again failed to win at home as they finished with ten men.

Bohs took the lead on 16 minutes when Darren Mansaram teed up an Owen Heary cross in from the right for Glen Crowe.

And though Galway keeper Gary Rogers did well to parry Crowe's initial shot, the striker was alert to the rebound to scoop home for what proved the only goal of the night.

Galway had midfielder John Lester sent off on 73 minutes for a foul on Conor Powell, his second yellow card.
