Hearts prepare big announcement

Hearts have promised to make a “significant news announcement” later this afternoon.

The club have not confirmed details of what will emerge from a Tynecastle press conference, which is to be held at 4pm.

However one possibility is that a permanent management team could be named, with Anatoly Korobochka and Stephen Frail having been in caretaker charge since the start of March.

Korobochka, who was brought to Hearts for a behind-the-scenes role last summer, has worked well alongside Frail, who was assistant to former boss Valdas Ivanauskas.

Ivanauskas had been away from the club before his departure was officially confirmed by mutual consent in mid-March.
