Asian confederation optimistic over United compromise

The Asian Football Confederation are optimistic a compromise can be reached in their ongoing dispute with Manchester United.

AFC president Mohamed bin Hammam met United chief executive David Gill and Premier League chairman Sir Dave Richards in Malaysia today in an attempt to end the stand-off over the Premiership champions’ planned tour of the continent.
