Midfielders Scott Parker and Damien Duff are out of Newcastle’s trip to Watford on Sunday after undergoing surgery.

Parker has had an operation to repair a hernia in Germany, while Duff had a foot problem dealt with last Friday and is facing months on the sidelines.
