Roberts banned for Rovers

Blackburn Rovers striker Jason Roberts will sit out the Barclays Premiership match against Reading on Sunday through suspension after being sent off in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham last night.

Matt Derbyshire or Shabani Nonda could replace Roberts with Rovers looking for a route into Europe through the Intertoto Cup.

David Dunn is doubtful with a thigh problem while Zurab Khizanishvili, Robbie Savage and Steven Reid are again ruled through injury.
