Villa get UEFA Cup hope

Aston Villa are likely to be in the running for a UEFA Cup place after European football’s governing body revealed its fair play rankings today.

An English and Welsh club will be in UEFA’s draw for the two remaining places on May 15, along with eight other sides from the countries deemed to have the best fair play records in their domestic leagues between June 2006 and April 2007.
