Robben set for surprise return

Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho could welcome Dutch winger Arjen Robben back into his squad for the visit of Bolton tomorrow.

Robben was expected to be out of action until the end of the season with knee ligament damage but he is now on the brink of an unexpected return.

Midfielder Michael Ballack remains doubtful with an ankle injury but Michael Essien returns after missing the Champions League win over Liverpool through suspension.
