Hammers fighting for Premiership future

Argentinian duo Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano will be at the centre of a crucial hearing on Thursday which could determine West Ham’s Premiership status.

The Hammers are to contest Premier League charges relating to the signings of the duo, with the east London club standing accused of breaking the rule which forbids the ownership of players by a third party and of failing to provide correct documentation.
