Duo make City return

Injury-plagued Manchester City duo Trevor Sinclair and Paul Dickov hit the comeback trail again tonight with a reserve team outings against Sheffield United.

Sinclair has made just two first-team appearances since January after being plagued by a groin problem, while Dickov’s last Premiership start came against Bolton on December 23, since when he has suffered from both toe and knee injuries.

Victory for City, coupled with Bolton failing to beat Newcastle, will secure the FA Premier League Reserve (North) title.
