More misery for Derry

Derry's miserably season continued as they lost for a foruth time in seven league games as UCD earned a shock win.

UCD were not overawed at all by their trip to the Brandywell and created the two best chances in the first half with Alan Mahon heading straight at Patrick Jennings before the much-maligned keeper produced a tip over save from Paul Byrne minutes later.

Derry continued to struggle into the second half and lost the game on 83 minutes.

Jennings could only parry a shot from Conor Sammon and Timmy Purcell followed up to score.
