Arjan de Zeeuw returns to captain the side after missing the Easter games with a back problem, while Emmerson Boyce also strengthens the defence after six weeks out with a rib injury.

The duo replaces the injured Fitz Hall and David Unsworth, while Henri Camara starts his first game since mid-December, with Antonio Valencia commencing a three-match suspension.

Spurs make two changes from the team knocked out of the UEFA Cup by Sevilla on Thursday.

Ricardo Rocha steps in to the heart of the defence, with Ledley King not risked for a second game in four days after recently returning from a long-term injury.

Phil Ifill replaces the benched Steed Malbranque.
