Newcastle threaten FA with Owen injunction

Newcastle have threatened to go to court to prevent England calling up Michael Owen for June's crucial Euro 2008 qualifier in Estonia.

The Premiership club are in the midst of a bitter dispute with the Football Association over compensation for the knee injury the 27-year-old striker suffered at last summer's World Cup.
