The Republic of Ireland Women’s under-17 team came from behind today to beat Scotland 2-1 in their final game of the Amsterdam tournament.

Gillian McDonald equalised Scotland’s first-half opener ten minutes after the interval and substitute Maria Harrington rounded off a superb performance with the winner for Ireland 20 minutes from the end.
