Longford Town are looking for their first points of the season when they entertain Drogheda United at Flancare Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Longford's finances have been called into question but the club issued a statement confirming that the future of the club is secure.

They will struggle on the pitch, however, as their opponents are flying high in second place in the league, unbeaten in four starts.

Dessie Baker is out with an ankle injury and should miss another three weeks.

Jason Gavin is out for United having dislocated his shoulder, while Graham Gartland and Stephen Gray are doubtful and will undergo a fitness test ahead of the game.

Andrew Hageman and Richie Baker will miss the trip to the midlands, however, James Keddy may be fit enough to make the squad.
