Derry must beat Drogheda by two clear goals if they are to make the semi-finals of the Setanta Sports Cup after this shock defeat.

Derry had the ideal start with the lead goal after 15 minutes.

Glentoran failed to properly clear Ruairdhi Higgins' corner and Killian Brennan volleyed home from 15 yards.

Despite having nothing to play for, Glens troubled Derry in the second half and levelled on 54 minutes when Michael Ward set up Brendan McMenamin who shot home.

Glens then won it six minutes from time when Willo McDonagh shot home from 20 yards.
