Rollercoaster day for struggling PSG

Paris St Germain climbed out of the Ligue 1 relegation zone as goals by Amara Diane and Sylvain Armand helped see off second-placed Lens today.

Sedan’s win at Nantes earlier in the day had briefly left PSG bottom, but Diane’s well-taken strike early on and captain Armand’s 71st-minute volley lifted them three places to 17th after David Rozehnal’s own goal had levelled matters.
