Trio return for Latics

Leighton Baines, Lee McCulloch and Fitz Hall all return from suspension to bolster Wigan’s squad for their Barclays Premiership match with Charlton at The Valley.

Left-back Baines and left-winger McCulloch both served one-match bans, while defender Hall is available again after completing a three-game ban.

Caleb Folan is fit after shaking off an ankle injury which forced him out of the Republic of Ireland squad for their European Championship qualifiers with Wales and Slovakia. Defender Emmerson Boyce is manager Paul Jewell’s only outfield absentee with a rib injury, while goalkeepers Chris Kirkland and Mike Pollitt are also sidelined.
