Hulse could be back in six months: Warnock
Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock is hopeful striker Rob Hulse could be back in action within six months after the player underwent successful surgery on a double fracture of his leg.
The Blades’ leading scorer – he has eight Premiership goals this season – was injured in an accidental clash with goalkeeper Petr Cech during the 3-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Hulse, 27, had an operation to have a pin inserted yesterday and after speaking to the surgeon Warnock is upbeat.
“He (the surgeon) was delighted with how things have gone and we might be looking at a recovery period of about six months – which is considerably less than we imagined,” the Blades boss told the club’s website, www.sufc.co.uk.
