Galway United v Sligo Rovers team news
Galway United start life back in the top division with a derby game of sorts against Sligo Rovers, who start the season with no manager following the departure of Rob McDonald earlier this week., kick-off at Terryland Park is at 7.45pm.
There should be a full house at Terryland tonight as the club looks to build on the successes of last season on and off the field.
Galway manager Tony Cousins has virtually a full squad to choose from and will be looking to get the new campaign off with a victory.
Sligo will be managed tonight by Leo Tierney and Dessie Cawley who have taken over at the Showgrounds until a permanent replacement is found.
Australian goalkeeper Tomislav Arcaba should make his Rovers debut, while Nigerian striker Choice Aisien misses out through suspension.
