The Turkish international is available after an 11-game absence with a calf problem, while the Irishman has shaken off a thigh injury which has sidelined him for the last five matches.

Damien Duff is in the squad after missing the goalless derby with Middlesbrough with a virus, but Oguchi Onyewu is ineligible.

Craig Moore (hamstring) is back in training but not yet ready to return while Celestine Babayaro and Peter Ramage (both hamstring), Michael Owen (knee) and Shola Ameobi (hip) are still out.
