Navarro apologises for punch

Valencia centre-back David Navarro wishes he could “erase” the incident which marred Tuesday night’s Champions League game with Internazionale.

Navarro, who was a non-playing substitute in the game, was at the centre of a post-match fracas which saw him punch Inter’s Nicolas Burdisso in the face, breaking the Argentinian’s nose.
