Nugent eyes 'dream' move to Everton
Highly-rated Preston striker David Nugent has admitted that he would welcome a “dream” move to Everton.
The England Under-21 international still hopes to play in the Barclays Premiership with Preston, who are one of a handful of clubs still challenging for honours in the Coca-Cola Championship.
But if Paul Simpson’s side are unable to earn a place in the top flight this year, Nugent is ready to trade Deepdale for Goodison Park.
Nugent told the News of the World: “Hopefully I’ll be in the Premiership with Preston this summer.
“If not, someone else as every young player wants to be there. Everton, for me, would be the dream.
“I’ve always wanted to play for them. It’d be unbelievable and, hopefully, it’ll happen one day. That’s where I want to be.”
