Magpies hang on for a point

Newcastle were made to pay for failing to make the most of their dominance as Middlesbrough managed to hang on for a derby point.

The Magpies were in control for much of the game, but James Milner's 51st-minute free-kick hit the bar and skipper Scott Parker saw a last-minute header saved as chances went begging.
