Surgery for Carroll as O’Flynn returns

There was mixed news today for Cork City boss Damien Richardson on the eve of the kick-off to the new season.

Colm Carroll, the club’s promising, young striker, is to have surgery to repair a cruciate knee ligament and will be out for up to six months.
