Latics hope on Hall

Wigan will know later today whether they have successfuly appealed against the red card handed out to centre-back Fitz Hall following his dismissal in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw at Watford.

If the Latics fail, Hall will miss the next three games, starting with Sunday’s visit of Newcastle to the JJB Stadium.

Striker Caleb Folan, who scored Wigan’s equaliser, should be fit to face Newcastle after limping off at Vicarage Road with an ankle knock.
