Upson close to comeback

West Ham defender Matthew Upson is set to return to full training this week in his bid to make a comeback in the crucial relegation clash against Charlton on Saturday.

The 27-year-old centre-back picked up a calf injury 30 minutes into his Hammers debut and was sidelined for the Barclays Premiership defeat to Watford.
