Cork City to agree Farrelly signing

Cork City FC today agreed terms with 31 year-old former Republic of Ireland international Gareth Farrelly for a two-year-contract.

The ex-Everton and Bolton Wanderers midfielder expressed delight to be joining Cork City. He was also player manager of eircom League side Bohemians from August 2004-August 2006. Farrelly joined English club side Blackpool on a short-term contract last November.
