Double injury blow for Ireland squad

Stephen Carr and Jonathan Douglas are out of the Ireland’s Euro 2008 qualifying clash in San Marino on Wednesday.

Newcastle right-back Carr sustained a thigh injury in training, while Leeds midfielder Douglas has a hamstring problem.
