Noe problem for Pompey

Defender Noe Pamarot stands by to return from a groin injury in place of new signing Djimi Traore (ankle) as Portsmouth seek their third win of the season over struggling Wigan at the JJB Stadium tomorrow.

Manager Harry Redknapp is likely to recall Andrew Cole to partner Nwankwo Kanu in attack for sixth-placed Pompey. Lomana Lualua is also in the squad again after a late substitute role in midweek following eight weeks out (thigh).

Midfielder Sean Davis is also available after dental problems and Niko Kranjcar is challenging for a place after ankle trouble.
